Amanda & I were excited to be included in this month’s issue of Chilled Magazine. We appreciate their help sharing our story, and people seem to be enjoying the cocktails created for us by the local bars! Speaking of those cocktails, The Blackheart near us in Austin has been carefully working on a new signature drink. Jeremy at Blackheart has been friends of the distillery since day one, and had Swift behind the bar before it even hit shelves!
The Swift Republic
2 oz Swift Single Malt
1/2 oz Giffard Banane du Bresil Liqueur
2 dashes Fee Brothers Peach Bitters
2 dashes Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters
2 to 3 drops Vanilla Extract (drop for your taste)
1 sugar peach candy
As for making this, its actually very straight forward.
step 1. combine all parts (minus the candy) into a mixing glass
step 2. stir for about 30 seconds
step 3. pour into a very chilled champagne coup or small martini glass
(The chilled glass is actually very important, it gives the cocktail balance)
step 4. garnish with sugar peach candy
