FROM GRAIN TO GLASS, SWIFT SINGLE MALT IS HANDCRAFTED RIGHT HERE IN TEXAS.

It all started over dinner.

We’re tough, hard-working, self-sufficient, and passionate about the things we love. Tired of investing long hours in service of someone else’s vision, the best part of every day was when we’d work together — to create a delicious meal, enjoy a drink, and discuss our dreams.

We realized we wanted to work together, and wanted to see the world to gather its wisdom. We wanted to create something meaningful, tangible, and authentic — something delicious. We wanted to make the best single malt whisky ever tasted stateside.

So, we searched the world over for the best ingredients, tools, and techniques to bring authentic Scottish whisky making traditions home to Texas. The distillery was founded in 2012, but our research and travels began years before.

We traveled to Scotland, Ireland, Japan, and hit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We visited distilleries, breweries, vineyards, and cooperages. We collaborated with Portuguese still makers, Spanish bodegas, and the people of Dripping Springs, Texas. We tasted and tested our way through bourbons and sherries and barrel staves. In the end, we selected every single thing with meticulous care for quality and flavor.

Hundreds of recipes were tested throughout the creation of Swift Single Malt. Our stills are run bucket-by-bucket to fine-tune the spirit by taste. We’ve truly created a labor of love — in which 100% of the labor and the love come from us, personally.

We’re passionate about bringing this traditional single malt recipe and authentic process to life right here in Texas. We hope you’ll lay hands on a bottle of our best — and raise a glass to craftsmanship while you’re at it. We’ll be with you in spirit!

Cheers,
Amanda & Nick Swift
