Thanks for making 2015 a wonderful year for us at Swift! 2015 marked our first full year on the shelves. Nick and I wanted to express our appreciate for everyone that has helped us along the way, to all of the wonderful bars, restaurants, and liquor stores that carry Swift, to my parents who help us bottle, to our amazing distributor, thank you!
2015 has brought a lot of great things for us. A 95 rating in Wine Enthusiast Magazine, a runner up in Garden and Gun Magazine, Made in the South Awards, and lots of bottles sold! We have traveled to Japan to continue to learn about the whiskey making traditions around the world and have begun to implement changes in our barrel storage process. We have also traveled to France to search for our next barrels to begin aging our second single malt in.
Lots to look forward to in 2016. We are beginning an expansion of our production due to the overwhelmingly positive reception of Swift Single Malt and the start of our second single malt. We know many people have been asking us when will we be popping up in there state? Nick and I are hard at work creating a plan to expand outside of Texas, but don’t expect this to happen to quickly it is still just the two of us making whiskey everyday!
